Dark eyed Thomsonites are always desirable. This particular stone has dark Smokey Eyes, a slight mix of other zeolites in the pattern, set in a dark pink matrix. The dark eyes create a nebulous effect, not completely clear, and not completely defined. Lots of square Argentium silver wires enhance the Thomsonite.

From the classical Minnesota Thomsonite location near Grand Marais, hunting is no longer possible there, so wear this pretty stone with delight! This is a mid-sized stone, smaller than some of our others. It is a unique stone, and a wonderful momento of the Great Lakes area.
