Sometimes the shape and structure of a potential pendant stone overrides colors. This was the case with a recent Ammonite Pendant I created. I look over a lot of stones and find ones that really excite me. This search often depends on my mood, or excitement level on a specific day.

Recently, an Ammonite Negative caught my eye (a negative is an impression of the original, or positive side). I really liked this Ammonite, because of it's size and balance with a slight, shiny, hint of a Pyrite Coating. This particular Ammonite is a Dactyloceras, probably from England. This pendant is a beauty for the discriminating fossil lover.

Wrapped entirely in Argentium Sterling, it is a handsome teardrop shape, this pendant is Unisex in nature. Nothing fancy with the wrap, so nothing to distract from the fossil impression.
