Pretty strips of charcoal gray add accents across a mostly white datolite that is startling because of the salmon pink splashes of color across the white. The wire work is argentium with decorative accents of twisted rose gold.

Datolites can show so many color variations. The Delaware mine produced many in this color range, but the rock pile is gone now and the opportunity to collect these stones is over. This semi-precious stone is primarily white with dark gray accents and looks like someone took a salmon pink paint and brushed across to decorate it. Master wire artist Don Reed pulled a row of argentium wire which brings out the gray stripe, and the stone is visibly enclosed with twisted rose gold that brings out the pink in the stone. Altogether this is a charming Datolite jewelry selection. A wonderful reminder of Michigan's Copper Country, buy this Keweenaw Peninsula treasure today and enjoy it forever.
