This very fine piece of Firebrick features a copper-replacement mortar-line along the left edge of the cabochon. This Firebrick is coated so it will retain the coppery shine and luster and inhibit tarnishing. Wrapped in pink gold and argentium silver, these metals enhance the copper Firebrick mimicing the copper color of the Firebrick, but does not tarnish as copper wire would. The top bail area was enhanced with a pleasing embellishment.
