Iimori in Japan in the mid 1960's. Secret crystallizers and crystal habit regulators were used to produce this brilliantly chatoyant stone with fan-shaped patterns. Unfortunately Mr. Iimori died in the late 1970's and took the secret of making this jade-like simulant to his grave.
