Pink stone earrings are commonly requested at our Keweenaw Peninsula art shows, to go with jewelry of beach stones or Thomsonite.
One of the wonders of the Great Lakes area is the diversity of stone we find. These are all from our region, Petoskey Stone, pink Prehnite, and Amethyst, all tumbled nuggets, all natural stone. Petoskey stone is the state stone of Michigan, prehnite found in the Upper Peninsula, Amethyst found on the north Shore of Lake Superior. Hangs from tarnish-resistant Argentium ear wires.
