A tangle of golden, dark brown, and gray/blue fibers weave together and intersect to create this shimmery stone. Pietersite is distinguished by the mix of chatoyant fibrous areas which appear to have broken up and reformed. Similar in color and texture to tiger eye, this has shiny strands going in all directions, really catching the eye.
Our direct-from-the-mine purchases bring you the very nicest stones. When these are in our cases at shows, people are drawn in by the magical shimmer of pietersite. The wire wrap is 14/20 gold fill and really enhances the beautiful golden stone colors. If you like folks to notice your jewelry, this is a good choice!
