Some rocks seem to exude a certain feeling when they are cut. This moody Montana Moss Agate gives me the feeling of a Fog filled bog in the early morning. Do you think Gollum may be lurking within?

Plant-like inclusions called Dendrites appear in Moss Agates. These inclusions are not petrified plants, but Iron, Manganese, or other minerals or metals. A pendant like this one, with muted Earth tones, could be worn with anything; equally at home with jeans or a dress. This pendant could also be a perfect manly pendant due to a simple wire wrap. I wrapped this perfect 30 X 40mm Cabochon with Argentium Silver and 14/20 gold fill.
