It is hard to tell if the inclusions in this are datolite or thomsonite. In either case, the pink/white inclusions make a wonderful addition to this greenstone. Michigan greenstones with inclusions are quite rare. The classic greenstone pattern is very prominent. This is really nice!
The greenstone also known as chlorastrolite is the state gem of Michigan and is found only is small select areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula or on Isle Royale National Park.
