This is a gorgeous triangular shaped greenstone with calcite and datolite inclusions, showing classical snakeskin pattern and obicular pattern. The back of this stone is not flat, but would be perfect for a lost wax casting. The greenstone, also known as chlorastrolite, is the state gem of Michigan and is found only is small select areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula or on Isle Royale National Park. 1.6 grams
