An island of green with peninsulas running into the pink Zeolite, this stone from Isle Royale features a classical alligator pattern that you will like. A designer shape is simply wrapped in pink gold wires which dance with the pink in the stone. Stones with the pink in the are becoming pretty scarce, this is a good one at a great price. Buy it.
Greenstone is the common name for chlorastrolite (chlor meaning green, astro meaning star). Chlorastrolite is the state gem of Michigan, found only in small areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula, and on Isle Royale.
