This Michigan greenstone with thomsonite came from an old collection actually found on Isle Royale years ago, when it was legal to collect there. Since I acquired several at a reasonable price I pass the savings on to you. This greenstone is a true natural stone. This gemstone is approximately 6 x 8 mm, on a gold fill ear stud. It comes with an easy-to-handle earring back!
The Isle Royale greenstone is the state gem of Michigan, and is found only in a few locations in the Keweenaw Peninsula and on Isle Royale National Park. Nice speckled patterns make a these a wonderful gift for your outdoor lover. Don't neglect the heirloom value as well, since this stone is more rare than diamonds!
