Copper mining rushed many European settlers to the Keweenaw Peninsula. This pink and copper infused Datolite reflects the rich history of the area Later, rock hounds returned to this area to seek the distinctive colors of Datolite found along these areas. After serving as an important copper mine, later the Delaware mine has been visited by many tourists to the area.
Michigan's Copper Country is known for the great colors of rare Datolite. This is a beautiful pale pink with a vibrant brighter blush pink color on the center and right with bits of copper clearly shining out in several areas. Twisted pink gold wires snug up against the stone reflecting the copper colors. Yellow gold wire wraps add richness.
