Bullseye Copper Agate Pendant

Pls378

New

This is an excellent little copper agate that we found in the old C & H pile near Calumet Michigan.  When you find these little nuggets, they are green, covered with chlorite.  You can’t see what they have to offer, but when cut, this little guy had a copper bullseye in it! It's a beauty you will enjoy wearing!

More info

One of the many unusual and rare gemstones occurring in Michigan's Copper Country is the copper agate. Copper Agates are exceedingly rare and collectable. These unusual agates from the Kearsarge lode near Calumet, never cease to amaze and surprise when they are cut open from dark green nodules found by careful searching in certain areas near Calumet. Many of the banded agates at these locations have some banding replaced by copper. These agates have become highly coveted within the last few years.

This copper agate comes from the remote and unusual Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Peninsula Michigan.  Copper Agates are becoming more rare and valuable as time goes on and good ones are so fun to find and wear! This has been wire wrapped in delicate square gold wires giving a touch of elegance.

The shiny copper surface is sealed making it resistant to tarnish for years of copper shimmer.
