Near the city of San Rafael, Argentina, lies a deposit of gorgeous agates known as Condor Agates. These agates are in a mountainous area, accessed over remote and dangerous steep mountain trails. These agates first came to the US in 1995. Today it is difficult to find high quality materials, because the very best selections are only sold as top-dollar specimens at the shows.

This is a beautiful agate with various mustard colors. The lower corner looks almost amethyst, and many color tones of gray add dimension. Wrapped in Argentium silver and gold fill to accent the colors in the stone. The reverse side has a natural botryoidal depression in it, an authentic agate look!
