Azurite-Malachite Lasting Romance

One of the classiest pendants I've ever made, it all started with the finest piece of Azurite-Malachite I've ever seen. A very special matched stone set found at the Tucson Gem Shows, I wrapped it with 14/20 rolled gold wire. Using facetted 2.5 ct gemstones of Apatite, Pink Tourmaline, and Blue Topaz, I ran a jewel strip down the middle between the Azurite-Malachite pieces. I then added a 16X12 mm, 12 ct facetted London Blue Topaz oval to swing on the bottom of the pendant. This pendant challenged me at every turn, and turned out to be a very time consuming creation. This pendant should go to a very special person; a person able to wear something this elegant, while enjoying the Lasting Romance it represents. I just cannot put into words how beautiful this piece of jewelry is. This may be my piece de resistance thus far in my jewelry career.
