The Keweenaw Peninsula is surrounded by the waters of Lake Superior, whose storms are famous. This pendant is a large and impressive datolite from the Isle Royal Mine on the Peninsula. A very attractive light pastel green stone, it has a swirl of green colors at the side, and bits of dark green throughout suggesting debris tossed in the wind. A single strip of pink suggests a rainbow, or a hint of a sunset. This beautiful stone is wrapped in 14/20 gold fill and argentium wires and enhanced with faceted pink topaz and peridot gemstones.
